CATSS is pleased to announce that Bernard Sam is the recipient of the 2026 CATSS Summer Fellowship in Translational Sensory

 Science. This annual fellowship is open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Minnesota who are conducting research with a focus in the area of sensory science at CATSS. Bernard is a PhD student in the School of Kinesiology, advised by Dr. Rachel Hawe. He is studying the relationship between proprioception and hand stabilization during cooperative bilateral tasks in individuals with stroke. His application was selected from among a number of highly competitive applications this year. We wish him success in his research endeavors!
