The  Center for Applied and Translational Sensory Science (CATSS) is a shared facility that is available to research groups throughout the University of Minnesota community. Located in Elliott Hall, CATSS houses integrated research tools for studying hearing, vision, balance, and human behavior in a variety of simulated environments.

CATSS consists of three electrically shielded and sound-attenuating booths and many specialized pieces of equipment. CATSS is a venue for interdisciplinary fundamental and translational research that encourages both academic research and academic-industry partnerships.
