About the CATSS Center
The Center for Applied and Translational Sensory Science (CATSS) is a shared facility that is available to research groups throughout the University of Minnesota community. Located in Elliott Hall, CATSS houses integrated research tools for studying hearing, vision and balance in a variety of simulated environments.
CATSS consists of three electrically shielded booths, each with a large sound-attenuating chamber for participant testing, and many specialized pieces of equipment. The CATSS Center is a shared research space and is available to groups throughout the University of Minnesota community, as well as industry groups associated with CATSS.
